Felting in Norway

Just spent a wonderful weekend feltmaking on a remote island in the Oslo Fjords  with May Jacobsen Hvistendahl. This is the seamless jacket I made – and a picture of me struggling with the five and a half metres of fabric before I started shrinking it!  The sleeves were a tad long and took a lot of work to shrink to the required length (I actually cheated a bit and chopped a few inches off eventually!)

I learnt so much and have so many new ideas I want to try – watch this space!
